i was looking at the new car on the main page od dsmtuners and the guys profile says "swichable tranny" meaning it switched fwd to awd. how does that work?

Thats pretty Sweet....if you could only get rid of the weight that easily for highway use....

ME= bc of wheel hop...so if my tranny goes..i think ill invest in that tranny

MightyMax transmission do that so I've been told, never driven or seen one around here though.

I sold switchable tranny and transfer case for 400 dollars on dsmtrader. I got it with a 6 bolt i bought from street imports. Motor went into a 2g so it was of no use.
