I have been looking for a AWD DSM for a month or so now, and I think I have finally found one I want to buy, but I have a question or two before I jump into it. The guy I am going to buy it from is a DSMer himself, and I have met him a couple times and know people that know him well, and he seems trustable. I'd also have someone to help me work on the car if something goes wrong. The car is a 1990 tsi AWD, black with grey cloth. It has 207k on the chassis, but the motor was rebuilt 10k. The trans is broken now, but a used one is being put it before I buy it. It's got a 3in catback and centerforce dual action clutch. The compression is 160 in all 4 cylinders, the timing belt, water pump, and turbine housing have all been replaced. He is asking $2000 for it. This is the best deal I have found by far, but I am hesitant because of the miles. He said he isn't sure if it is the original motor in it, he bought it broken and did the rebuild 10k ago. Am I justified in worrying over the 207k on the chassis, or should I forget about it because it has been rebuilt? Sorry for the long topic and thanks for any help I receive
