Ok... Well before in 3rd or second gear I could BOOST almost at the 1 on the factory Gauge.

NOW I noticed it just stops at 0.5

sometimes it goes OVER like midway betweem 0.5 and 1

but I noticed something today when I was going like 180KM/H I was ALMOST boosting a full 1.

this is ODD. I THINK it's a boost leak but not sure so thats why im asking.

I checked the main black pipes at the top of the engine and htey don't seem to have a hole. and the clamps are on tight.

Can someone please tell me things I can check for this leak? or whatever is going on.

well thats all I hvae :(

no money for another gauge...

it used to read fine
but like yesterday something happened I don't know what

ive been pushing her a tad hard but nothing too bad.

no mods were added nothing.

the 1g boost gauge measures in psi but the 2g boost gauges reads in bars of mercury i think thats wut its called.

it reads just like the greddy boost gauges. 0.5 , 1.0 , 1.5 and 2.0.

anyhow, i agree with every1 else, the stock boost gauge is crap, regardless what it used to read and reads now. what u shood ask yourself is if the car runs differently, or doesnt pull as hard as it used to. u cood also take it to the dealership or a performance shop and simply ask, im sure they wood be glad to help u out.:thumb:

besides what is the equivalent of 0.5 1.0 1.5 and 2.0 in boost. if any1 knows....

When your gauge says that you boost to 0.5 instead of 1 is there a power loss? If so you might have a boost leak, but if you can't feel a differance it's probly the gauge. If you go to the advanced search ant type in "boost leak tester" you should find a forum the talks about how to make a tester and how to look for the leaks. Sometimes it can be real easy to find. Hope this helps.

God I'm anal:

1 bar = 14.5 PSI
1 kg/cm2 = 14.22 PSI (Greddy)
1 atm = 14.7 PSI

Sorry, I had to drop that in there. It's all pretty close, plus or minus a couple of tenths, but still .. :D
