overview,
1991 tsi awd jdm swap, MT swap.
boost wont pass 7 psi.
otherwise engine runs peachy.
idle surges from 750 - 3000 rpm
at cold it idles perfect, as the engine heats up, idle keeps going higher and higher.
datalogger wouldnt work with jdm ecu, so i swapped the american back in, idle was the same, boost was the same, datalogged shows everything good, no error codes.
i suspected the ISC, so i checked it, and it checked out, i even swapped the isc from the american throttle body over, and idle was exact same.
on the logger, the isc reads 0.
i suspected errors with the jdm ecu, so i used the american ecu, and everything was the same, idle, boost, everything.
I was told that since my car had gas in it, and sat for a few monthes, before i fixed it, and then i added gas to it, since the first gas into the engine was old, it started knocking bad, and the ecu pulled timing and limited boost to 7.
im lost here people.
my BOV flutters, when i let off the gas, i swapped bov's, and sound is the same.
