Ok so what do you guy think happened I was going down the road in my 99 gst 7 bolt shifting from third to fourth when all of a sudden clutch went soft heard some s**t in the tranny breaking apart now there's huge holes in bell housing by clucth slave snd car wint turn over is somethinh jammed or is motor dead

You will definitely will need a new clutch and you probablly fried a gear in the tranny if you didnt pull over right away. I wouldnt necessarily say it came from Crank walk. When it happened in my car the guy had a cheap Korean clutch in the car so you get what you pay for .... Go exedy if you want an affordable solution that wont blow up when its done. Either rebuild your tranny or sell your core to be rebuilt and find a used one . People are always parting them out here. PS you may have blown one gear so if its your DD, you can jump shift go from 2 to 4 or 3 to 5 if 3rd or 4th is gone. I've been missing 2.d for a while

thanks for the replies i pulled the tranny out waiting to find a new one so for now im stuck in my 420a... good news is my engine still runs. the clutch was missing all but one spring and the flywheel cracked so now i just gotta get the parts.
