Went to start after a full rebuild & swap, it wouldn't crank over unless the clutch wasn't pushed down that's one problem, the other is that when it did turn over the starter grinded like crazy, pull starter check it and its from a 1g, also turned the starter over to see if the Bendix came out like its supposed to and it sounded just a horrible out of the car.....any advice on both??

Well I am pretty sure that might be your problem because 6 bolts and 7 bolts have different teeth on the flywheel unless I am mistaken.

Change it out and see if it fixes the problem but I don't know if you had any metal debris fall into the t-case from the starter grinding or if it matters.
