Hey guys! I own a fairly heavily modded GST spyder that has been randomly shutting off sometimes. The head lights get very dim and the cars electronics stop working, then it shuts off. After waiting a few hours, it starts back up again. Any ideas? Battery is new.

Here are some things you could try. Check your fuses, get your alternator and battery tested, check the battery cables for any corrosion. It sounds silly but perhaps your battery cables aren't tight enough to the battery terminal.

All the first basic steps to take. After all that I would double check your sensor wires and connections. Sometimes they could shorting out or melting somewhere. That would cause the shut off and then being able to restart after cooling
