INput on purchase of 91 tsi

Looking at a 91 TSI online. Has 213k miles and he drove it to shootout
and uses it as his DD. Is there anything in particular that i should be careful of when I go to look at the car? Thx guys

Id be checkin wheel bearings and tie-rods, as those parts of the vehicle are easily over looked and with almost a quarter million miles on the clock you can bet your a$$ if they have never been changed then they're bad

213 is alot of mileage. do a compression test on motor before buying. you can rent a compression tester from local parts store for free. also let car run for about 35 minutes to ensure it doesnt over heat. look for any and all oils leaks. jack up car and shake down suspension. check breaings , tie rods, etc. any movement in wheel with lug nuts tight can result in out of pocket expense. they are not bad cars if that are maintened.
