Hey guys,

I've started my build on my 1998 eclipse GSX. The car is completely stock besides the air filter which is a k&n. First i started with the exhaust. I tried unbolting the stock catback first, but one of the nuts where rounding and nut even budging. (i sprayed and soaked with wd-40 and tried the impact on them. only got the one to move). So since i purchased the 3" catback & down pipe last fall from megan racing, i just decided to remove the full exhaust from the o2 housing. So when i waqs putting the new megan racing exhaust on everythig bolted up somewhat okay until i put the exhaust brackets into the hangers. The mid fit pipe that connects the down pipe to the catback isn't fitting right. the rubber hanger right beside the drive shaft is pushing on it, so thats not going to work. The other thing i noticed was the second peice that comes in the kit with the O2 bung in it. It's hanger hook doesn't seem to fit at all. Maybe if it was turned around? but then the O2 bung is on the wrong side. If i'm having a brain fart please let me know. I spent a good day trying to figure this out. Pics aren't loading i will try in seperate post.

Thanks

this is the pic of the mid section that rubs the drive shaft

heres the pic of the second section from the exhaust tip

Are you able to take a pic looking up at the section where the Cat would mount to compare it to the pics off MR website? I think it would make things easier to view and confirm if you have the correct part and/or if the orientation is wrong.
