camber issued

so my gst i have is lowered and i bought it this way. the front camber and caster are way out of spec, im just wondering what i can do or what camber kit i could buy to fix this.

left -2.75 +3
right -3.25 +4.25

I have adjustable upper balljoints and havent had any issues with them. They also make another type that is adjustable at where the upper control arm bolts to the body. Have a set of them also but never installed them

the first thing you should do is check your suspension to make sure nothing is worn out of spec. if you have control arms rocking the 18 yr old bushings, then id advise you address that issue first.

energy suspension and prothane both offer front end and complete car bushing kits for the 2g (1g as well i believe).

dont forget the upper strut bushings plate as well.

I tryed these (2G Front Camber Correction Kits '95-'99 by Specialty Products - RRE's Eclipse Camber Correction, Camber Plate and Bearing Plate Info) but was not impressed. They only lasted 2 years and then the rubber part of the bushing destroyed itself after sliding back/forth in the bracket (upon turns and braking) and started making clunking noises. If I was going to do it again I'd choose a different brand or go adjustable ball joints: Ingalls or SPC.

okay thanks ill look into these still open to suggestions of what would be the best one for me, also i have checked all my suspension, almost everything is brand new what was not i replaced after i bought it if it was needed.

Couple of things stick out here. You have a 1.25deg diffence in caster side to side, which unfortunately is in the wrong direction to pull toward the crown of the road, so you might see a mild pull toward the shoulder. Has this car ever been in a bender? Also, you mention this car is lowered, but nothing about the rear camber spec which I would expect to be excessive and out of spec also. If not already addressed, it can be fixed with a rear camber kit or a stack of washers. I also recommend going poly bushings on everything, regardless of the state of the OEM bushings. You will need the extra hardness to cope with the harsher lowered ride, that will trash OEM bushings faster. Also, most people forget about the fact that once you lower the car, you should go around and loosen the bolts at all the OEM bushings at static ride height and then go around and retighten them so that they arent already in "bind".

i don't think its ever been wrecked and the rear was out a little but we have gotten it pretty much into spec. i think the rear wasn't bad because it had the lowing kit on to but its barely lowered at all but the front is slammed like an inch off the ground. i have no idea why the back isn't lowered much, it has an identical set up.
