strut nut size

I replaced my struts with tokico blues and red lower springs but anyone know the size of the nut that goes on the top of the washer?

I think I found a replacement but Fastnal is right down the road,

I'm not positive that the STM page you have is quite what you're looking for. I do know this, you will need a high tensile nut because it's going to be under a lot of pressure. I'm all for finding the cheaper alternative to the OEM, but only if it doesn't sacrifice longevity or reliability. If I were you, I'd call up my local Mitsu dealer and get it through them. Can't be too bad, its just a nut, right?

I'm still confused as to whether he needs new nuts (plural - three per side in the front) for the plate to be held to the chassis, or a new nut (singular - one per side) for the end of shaft on the shock. Ergo, I didn't reply before now.

right...from the wording of his question, I gathered he needed the one for the end of the shock shaft, but the STM page he posted seemed that it was for the plate bolts...
