1g wideband (lc-1) noob -questions

Finally installed a wideband lc-1,Didn't come with the serial cable to hook it up to a comp, installed in the 02 spot (dsm link is in the mail )
It was calibrated already ..Once i installed it and started the car it reads 7.9 then goes to 21.9
2nd do i cut pin 4 o2 and just tape both sides up ?

This is my 1st wideband experience i have no clue what to do next...Do i just wait till i get dsm link to sim ?

You'll have to wire in the wideband to whatever O2 sensor you replaced it with then configure DSMLink to read that O2 sensor as a wideband. I believe you have to connect the brown wire to the wire coming off the ECU.

Any reason you are running it instead of your front 02?

Are your converting to to native wideband, or are you going to use both sensors, stock narrowband as well as LC-1 wideband? Also, both the yellow and brown wires are programable.

This is what i followed for install it says nothing about what wire to connect to (pin 4 02 wire ).. Also i was reading not to connect (white wire) to pin 24 it can blow the ground track ??

Narrowband simulation install (DB gauge, Logging, ECMlink v3 setup) [LC-1 sensor placed in front o2 spot]
Red wire – 12v accessory power source (e.g. cigarette lighter or radio)
Blue wire – chassis ground
White wire - ECU sensor ground (pin 24)
Brown – ECU pin 15 (ECU Pinout - http://www.dsmlink.com/images/forums/1GECUPinout.pdf)
Yellow – DB gauge’s white wire
(*Must reprogram Analog Out 1 values to match Analog Out 2 values using LM Config 3.15. Screenshots and software - innovatelc1orlm1install [ECMTuning - wiki])
Black – Calibration push button to monitoring LED to ground
*Note – The brown and yellow wires can be swapped in this scenario.

Narrowband simulation is then done inside the v3 software - v3narrowbandsim [ECMTuning - wiki]

You can do either one. It's up to you. Just because the article doesn't specifically say, doesn't mean you can't if you're getting rid of the front o2 sensor.

But I went and fixed it for anyone else who looks at it.

Not sure where you read that.

It says not to connect the Blue wire to the ECU sensor ground because it can blow the track. Just a chassis ground is fine.
