Stripping wiring harness..confused about 4 wires

I am in the process of stripping uneeded wires out of my dash harness. There are 4 wires that look like speaker eire and are even twisted together like speaker wire, that run all the way to the fuel pump area. Does anyone know where they go and what they are for? I have wiring diagrams and cannot find it on them.

Thats the plug for the other connection to the fuel tank. Your fuel pump is under the metal plate on the passenger side. That wire runs from there where you see it to the other side of the tank. If you take the metal plate off on the drivers side you will see the other end of the wire plugged to the tank. I forget what it is though lol but you need it.

It splits off in twi sections. One goes to the other side of the tabk and the wire that look like speaker wire goes behind the tank. Only thing is, i dont know what is behind the tank.
