Radiator fans will not turn on.

I cant get my fans to turn on at all. the car is a 98 GSX, just swapped in a new radiator and mishimoto fan shroud, followed this wiring scematic from luv2rallye

Passenger side (radiator) fan wires on harness side of connector are:
lo positive (+12V) = white/black (white with black stripe)
lo negative (goes to ground) = black
hi positive (+12V) = white/blue
hi negative (goes to ground on M/T, switched on/off to ground by the 5th radiator fan relay LO2 on A/T) = blue/green

Driver side (A/C) fan wires on harness side of connector are:
lo positive (+12V) = blue
lo negative (goes to ground) = blue/black
hi positive (+12V) = blue/white
hi negative (goes to ground) = black

nothing Connected the fans directly to the battery, and they work. when i turn the fans on with DSMlink, i can hear the relay click, or turn on. what could be wrong?? no fuses are blown, everything looks good? what should i do? everything worked fine with the stock fans, AC button is on so the driver side fan should work, but nope.

thanks!
Tanner

My advice would be to eliminate the factory wiring all together. Run a relay to both fans and a power lead to the battery. I can send you a diagram of how to do it if you are interested. I had problems with my 96 overheating due to the humidity in MI during the summer and the only real fix was to keep the fans on all the time. I have never had issues with the battery being drained from this.

Buy a multimeter and test the ground side for continuity to ground. Than check for continuity between the fan harness to the relay in the fuse box.

This might help for you all who have issues with the fans. Cooling issue, plus wiring them up
