Hard intake pipe, or intake manifold?

Intake pipe.Replace the crappy ebay filter with a k&n.You will be much happier.

Do you have a boost gauge installed? I know you said you looked for leaks but it is possible that one of those pesky vac lines could have came off the aluminum nipple on the intake. Have you checked for shaft play on your turbo when you had the pipe apart?

Your intake pipe should not affect your boost. Something else isnt hooked up right.

This. I would check for leaks again. Make sure it can pressure for several minutes.

Leaks is a great thing to check for..

Your going to want to bactrck to everything you took off or unclamped.Like IC piping for one.

Big gain of HP with an intake pipe..Maybe a very slight increase, but not alot more by any means.

Was your previous set-up vented to the atmosphere or re-circulated, if you suddenly switched that may play into it as well?

See if you can post a pic and make sure your maf is plugged in, and all hoses are connected nice and tight. Also get a nice K&N filter.
