Well, im doing what i wanted but sooner than i expected.

I have a 1995 Eclipse GSX that i am doing a motor swap on because i threw a rod. I am going with a 7 bolt block that has evo 9 pistons, 6 bolt rods that have been shot peened, and a stock crank. The block has also been bored .40 over.

I am also running a 16G turbo, a big front mount intercooler, and 4 in exhaust. The Head is a 6 bolt head that has a 3 angle valve job and port and polish with stock cams.

I plan on upgrading my fuel system, ARP head studs, 272 cams, DSMLink with speed density, and possibly water/meth injection.

I was hoping someone could give me a guestamate on what size injectors i should buy. Any information would be really helpful and appreciated. :thumb:

go big or go home. better to buy larger than needed injectors and scale them down than buy small injectors to find out you need bigger ones. size all really depends on your goals though.

Alot of people say it and dont really mean it. But... i think if i can hit the 550 hp mark ill be where i want. Im not a track guy unless its a road coarse so im not trying to make a personal best on time, but i have though about trying to make it an AWD drift car because you just dont see eclipses playing the game. I just enjoy driving and feeling the car pull, and wasting the occasional vette.

I am good at the mechanical part of things but i am definantly gonna need help with the small things like injector size and tuning as i am new to turbo cars. But i was thinking 850's. Im assuming when you say scale them down you mean with a afpr...correct?

16g will not make 550whp. your looking at a far larger turbo for such a goal. 16g is maxed out near 400whp i believe. scaling down the injectors is done through your tuning system.

Oyeah, sorry. :ohdamn: I was thinking of maybe a 60-1, or a t3/t4 setup. This is all eventual, but the cams tuning and injectors are going in as im putting it back together.

1000cc will make upwards of 680hp on regular fuel but e85 I would go bigger.

There is a whole thread on why there aren't any 2g drift cars. I suggest you read it.
