Please Help with Greddy EGT!

I installed my 60mm Greddy Peak Hold EGT, but I am having a problem: I am not getting a reading at all. The illumination works fine though. I checked all connections for the probe and they are good. I was wondering what everyone tapped into for their 12 volt power and the ignition wire? I just tapped into two wires that had constant power that I was already using for my other gauges. I know the taps are making a connection because my testlight shows that there is power. If anyone can let me know which wires and which colors they used it would be great. I am wondering if anyone has ever had a defective control box because that seems like what it may be to me. Thanks for any help and any suggestions are appreciated.

Make sure that the wire going to the brain box is connected firmly. I'm sure you have though. If your sure its getting power with a test light, then I'm not sure why it wouldn't work. Are you sure you a good ground?

Well I figured since the illumination works that I have a good ground because they all use the same ground. I checked the connection many times and it doesn't seem like it can get any tighter. What colors did you use to tap into?

Well, I can't remember off hand because when I did it this time, I already had the wires ran (forgot where I got them from...sorry). I got my constant power off my turbo timer. If you are using one of those, just unplug the harness and check there for a constant power source as well as a 12v ignition turn on.
