3g interior into a 2g!?!?!?

so i went to the junkyard today and found a 2003 eclipse with mint interior,only reason i am bringing this up is cause i am making all interior plastics in my 2g eclipse black,so far i have black gsx door panels black dash,black center console and backseat panels with speakers,but i guess the 2g eclipses back then didnt make black trunk plastics or upper arm plastics black,so i saw the inside of the 2003 eclipse and the characteristics of the inside are almost identicale,do you think if i pulled the black trunk plastics they would fit in my 2g?

You can try but I dont think they will. Why dont you just paint your or dye them.

In there write ups It looks good. I did the same thing with mine but didnt sand and let it sit in the sun. Its been 2 yrs and its starting to peel but thats ### my racing seats rub a bit. I think it turned out good. I dyed my carpet with rit dye and it turned out great.

i dont think the plastics will fit a 2g from a 3g but they front and rear seats fit

Ya I just took all the panels out, cleaned them with a degreaser called purple power and sprayed, let try and put them back in. Took 2 days. I want to redo them after sanding and primer. You can try to track down some stock black interior. There hard to find.

@alex yeah i was looking at the seats very similiar so i thats good to know they fit,i love the seats in the 4g eclipses there very sexy haha@rider you kinda pushed me towards just painting mine,thanks for the write up links

The seats are nice and dont rush it. Thats what I did. If you do it, you should post before and after pics.

i think they did make black plastics for 2g....i know ive seen pics with it....unless it was dyed or a 3g trunk....because they do look alike
