Hey guys i searched for the post of the window adjustment and i couldn't find the thread this is for a 2g gsx someone care to throw me a link

i would like to know as well, my window just falls down after i roll it down a little and then i have to pick it up with my hand while pulling the button up to close it LOL. it sucks :(

your in luck i just spent 3 hours the other day doing the same thing. although i did mine on a 1g it should be similar.

1. remove door panel
2. adjust the window to where you can unscrew the window from the assembly, there should be a hole where you can insert a Philips and unscrew the window glass.
3. carefully remove the window, you're going to have to pull it from an angle
4. once glass is remove, remove two bolts on the top and bottom that holds the window assembly.
5. unbolt the motor.
6. remove the whole assembly through the opening, again your're going to have to remove it from one of the bigger openings and at an angle.
7. examine whats wrong with it.
8. you can lube the track and the assembly to make the window smoother.

edit: this goes after step two. unplug the negative from your battery just in case.

There isn't really any adjustment, if you are having issues there is something broken. It is pretty common on 2g's. You will have to pull the door panel and look at the tracks to see exactly what is damaged and replace it.

OK I really think that "Fix the 2g window" rattle is my problem. That bracket is right where my window is really really loose. I called a local mitsubishi dealer and they can't help me the parts guy is new and said in the past 3 years he have been there a 2nd gen eclipse has never even came into the shop LOL. Anyway i have the piece of plastic that just about is the same shape as the bracket but is there another one that i am missing. Any one know how to make the pics in the "fix the 2g window rattle" come up. I am pretty sure if i can see the pics i'll get the answer i need. If nobody knows how to make the pics come up anyone care to take a pic of the bracket for me... Please.....

OK i figure it out.... I need that plastic piece that goes inside the bracket of the bracket. Anyone got the part number for this. This is the bracket towards the front of the window that holds the track from rattling. The piece i need i guess you can say is u shaped drivers side because the passenger side is different i already checked.
