T into the vacuum line between the intake manifold and the fuel pressure regulator.

Here is a Tech Article: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-turbo-system-intercooler/205099-boost-gauge-install-where-tap-source.html

And here are 11 pages you can flip though if you need more info: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/appearance-interior-exterior/15966-how-do-i-install-boost-gauge-gage-guage-1g-2g-merged-8.html

That's the line I tapped into for my Boost Gauge. Only problem it seems bigger until you cut it, It's very small inside haha! had little trouble putting on my T but once I got it on it's solid!:thumb: - Ryann :talon:

what size T did you use and where did you get it

thats the line i cant find/see

what size to all i could find is 5/8

I'll make this very simple for you. Here is a picture I just took off of my 1g. T into the line that runs from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. I used a 4mm vacuum line which is comparable to 5/32".

What is this house that you are looking for? Do you mean hose as in vacuum line? :sneaky: ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL

Also I don't understand how you don't see the vacuum line in that picture. I'm not hiding it, I promise.

Yes that is the line. I'm sorry, I guess my 1g isn't a good example as its not exactly stock anymore. I eliminated that solenoid pack there, all those vacuum lines, my cruise control, a lot of the wiring harness, and I moved the coil pack. That's why there is more room in my picture. That is the line you want to tap though.

alright man thank you.. but at least you know why i was confused with everybody's pictures but alright thought so just wanted to make sure

so know i just need to find a T that will fit that, i bought a pack of 3 or four brass Ts and none of them are small enough so can i ask where you got yours (i went to autozone)

Well I got mine from a friend who ordered a bunch from McMaster-Carr because its threaded on one side. I'm sure you could get a regular vacuum line T at auto zone though. They are plastic, not brass.

i only got the brass because i wasnt sure of the size and there was a couple in there, the only other one was a rubber T and it looked to big.

i knew the hose i needed to use i just couldnt find it that good.. and if im going to do something im going to do it right.
