1g head on a 2g

can i put a 1g head on a 2g. and if it possible what head is better on a 2g

This is a long drawn out debate. The quick answer is this. If your asking this question then you really dont have any need to change to a 1g head unless your stock head is messed up and you have a 1g head laying arround that you can throw on. Remember that you will need to change the intake manifold as well or you will have mismatched ports. 2g head on a 2g engine is better for simplicity. The performance part still seems to be up for debate. Sorry if this dont give you the answer your looking for but its the best I can do for you.

EDIT: Yes a 1g head will bolt onto a 2g block.
