my new dsm

[1990AWD]

I picked this up about three weeks but just finally took some pics today and thought I'd share.

It's a '90 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSR-4. AWD, 5spd, cruise, a/c, auto seatbelts. Best part is the 46k miles on the odometer!

I'm the second owner in Canada, previous owner brought it over last year.

Car is stock, just a simple mbc, boost gauge, and a full 3" Megan racing turbo-back exhaust installed by Greddy_1700

Same as the GSX ... 75770Km = 46219 miles ... not too bad at all ! Do like the amber turn signal lenses though.

GSR-4 is a Japanese thing. Built at the plant in Normal like every other DSM (even has DSM stickers on it) but bought by a Japanese person and brought there and now back. The owners manual and such are all written in Japanese. Even the battery has Japanese writing on it. .

I like the turn signal lights too. It also will pop up the headlights when signaling, but just for a second and then down again. Not sure if that's supposed to happen or not....

Oh, and the fog lights are my daytime running lights and are always on, the switch is non-existent. It also has auto-down AND auto-up drivers window!

..unless it's a requirement by the Ministry of Highways in Canada, but I can see it as the turn circuit in the lever accidently hits the headlight door motors contacts in the lever at the same time...

USD=$5,104.15 ... close price via NADA or KBB for a '90 Mitz with that low of miles on the high book market.

ya I'm thinking it a short in the wiring also but it's not a big enough deal for me to worry about. it's just kinda odd/neat.

Good looking car. Looks better then mine and probably original pait too. Mine was repainted bout five years ago. It was done in original colors though so all the door frames and the engine bay match. Welcome to DSM

This is actually my third DSM.

Plans are to make 400whp as a DD; probably a EVOIII 16g.
