So i been looking around for a gsx, got approved for a loan and everything. I found a mint one, color i wanted and all. Drove three hours to go look at the car. The car looks mint, paint was flawless exept a little clear peeling (cant really notice but i notice every little detail). It had Bear big brake kit, tien flex coilovers, 18" racing hart c2, full 3 inch exhaust, rebuilt trans, and all new axles. car also had 80,000 original milage and was a car from the south so it had no rust. The guy claims it was garage kept. I ran an auto check and found out it was a gst converted to a gsx.(I wasn't to happy to find that out, didnt have leather or anything). So i got there and the guy told me he was having problems with it, He said the crank case pressure was way to high, it blew the dipstick out. I though this could be blow by, either from the turbo seals, valve stem seals or mabey the PCV. So i did a compression test and it was perfect across the board. The guy also said it burnt a significant amount of oil (turbo??). I took it for a test drive and it ran good. He wants 6000 for the car, he claims he can get 8000, what do you guys thing??
