This extremely fine piece of electronic hardware allows you to fine tune your air/fuel adjustments to your vehicle while taking in the consideration of your vehicles LT/ST fuel trim over periods of time. In more simple terms it allows you to lean out or richen up your fuel delivery. And BTW its pretty much a shot in the dark unless you have a way to read your LT/St fuel trims. Via Pocketlogger, DSM link, Etc..

Even Better = SAFC Tuning / How and Why

Dude look for a datalogger on the site it plugs into your obd port and allows you to record and view engine statistics hence fuel trims and adjust accordingly. I hace been using a craftsman engine scanner to record live data and adjust acoording to freeze frame data to ST/LT fuel trims. digital tuning, inc.

why not just run a wideband sensor and tune with that.... since it goe sby rpm ranges, have a friend ride with you and write down the afr at what ever rpm and then make adjustment accordingly.

You will need atleast 550's or higher to run a 2G MAS on a 1G, and you will need a datalogger and wbo2 and a fuel pump if you don't have one or rewire your stock atleast. Google is your friend, you can find ANYTHING through Google if you just type..

Without a data logger or wideband you will have no idea where the settings need to be and you will likely blow your engine.

People do this some times instead of starting a new thread if their question is related to the original thread.

....you say that so matter of factly and dry that it's funny. Did it really need explaination?

Bryan is right. You need something to tell you what that AFC is doing or you will wind up doing damage eventually.
