I was reading a 4G63 tuning book and here's what it said about crankwalk that ruined my day:
"In extreme cases, the crank will have moved so far that it will actually move the sensor out of place, causing a stall when the clutch is depressed."
2 days ago, this was happening while I was driving:
1. My car idles fine.
2. My car shifts fine.
3. While in motion only, if I push my clutch in for more than 2 seconds my car will either die for a split second and come back to life on it's own, OR die for good and have to be roll started.
4. This does not happen while I'm parked and in Neutral. I can hold my clutch down as long as I want and it idles fine.
Please tell me this is anything other than a crankwalk sign!!
I don't have any other crankwalk signs like fast ticking, or a sticking clutch. my 95 gsx only has 76,000 miles on it.
