Hey I plan to add 8.8.1 wiesco pistons to my already bought crank and eagle h beam rods, will i notice a huge loss in power till i hook up a turbo setup to the vehicle. since thats the last thing i need to buy in my build?

if I had a dollar for every time I have seen a 2G NT-T conversion be a financial disaster, I would have about, well, 8 bucks by now! My reality advice and logical thinking is you shouldn't of done it. And you should stop pursuing it. Your reality acceptace and logical thinking will ignore this (or even flame) under pretense that no one understands how freakishly clean your 99 NT is and how it's a waste to let such clean car go un-turboed. John here in Oklahoma City has spent $9800 on full and proper build of 420A in to a turbocharged car, so ultimately after hidious years of insanity, he made 268whp on a 20G turbo (Hahn Racecraft) on 91 pump gas after all said and done (daily tune). He did all the work himself. Making more than that on stock DSMs with just 14B turbo has been thing done over and out million times. Facts are, even after you build your engine and it's all fortified and nice and "bomb proof", then your fuel system is a dissapointment. Then after you build your fuel system, you will realize how hard and uncooperative your ECU is for tuning. After you resolve this problem, sits drivetrain issue, tiny axles, no LSD, very weak transmission and after ALL OF IT, when you have upgraded every weak part of NT, your gearing and final drive in the NT is crap. Don't get hooked on the story of "I know a guy who has 420A turboed and he running 9`s" or how "friend of a friend" did this or that, go for majority of statistics. Non runing 2G GSTs are all over craigslist adds nation wide for 800-1500 weekly, so why bother? Usually I love people like you dump money in 420As because it's fun to watch someone suffer, but I got too old for that and would rather try to whisper proper advice in your...well, eyes.
I'm not in the business of having a 10 sec car my question to my fellow Dsm owners is if i wait to buy my turbo kit will my 8.8.1 wiesco pistons affect my n/a power!
