Can i run mine threw that? also how did u wire it to your dash did u drill anything?

Also were could i find the firewall on my 98 GST so i can run the wire?

OH BOY. The sheet of metal that seperates you in the cabin from your engine bay, that is the firewall. You can run the line through the rubber boot for steering column that is what i did.

Your firewall is behind your intake manifold, it shouldn't be hard to find:tease: :D

Now if you want a way to route it, you can do what I did and cut a small hole in the grommet where your steering goes through the firewall and route the hose through there.

geezus im inside my car under my stearing wheel looking for this god dam firewall LOL... i cant seem to find it anywere. any1 have pictures?

My g/f is named amy but she doesn't have a PS.

Dude, Look at where the steering column, you know the thing your steering wheel is attached to, goes through a rubber thingy in the metal the separates the people holder and the engine place. Poke a hole in that rubber thingy and feed your boost hose through it.

^^^^ DO THAT:thumb:

thanks tally i found that rubber the steeringwheel is attcked to. how thick is the rubber? can i just get a screw driver and poke it threw or drill it?

sorry i ment amp..

You should not need to drill it. Just poke a small hole through it and run your line through it and then T into the line stated earlier and you should be good to go. Might also want to use some sort of thread sealant on the threads at the back of your boost gauge so you dont have a leak. Good Luck

here like this hope this helps

on another note.. anyone know what i can use that would be safe to get that spry paint off my tubing and wiring. ? the guy i got it from went crazy.

i would replace the tubeing and looking at your wires i see its there covering painted not the wires it self so you could just replace that aswell for almost nothing. also thanks for pics got mine set up now.

Run your boost hose through the steering boot? Really? There should be a hole near where your brake Fluid resivior. If not drill there. To ensure no movement and stress on the hose! It's a little hard to get it there but trust me well worth it
