My car has spitting gas back out when i go fill it up at the pump. I was my a few people its my vent valve or evap canister.
I ordered the vent valve from the dealer since its a dealer item. Found this on ebay. Is this the right part for my 1998 rs auto, hope it is this would save some money, and money is tight.

^^ This picture^^ is different from the one shown in my haynes, when I look up on caps both the part-mfg. number is different also.
Could this be across reference item but still fits, I've notice some car parts are like this. Example, from advance auto and autozone.
