ok, my i live in Carlsbad NM. the weather if fairly nice around here, but untill a couple months ago my tranny was acting fine. Then the cold came, now my TSI acts slugish the A/T is cold(the engine isn't cold, i usually let it warm up for a few mins before i drive it). Also after a few mins of driving in cold weather, the A/T is a little warmed up. But even after driving for 30-45 mins(cruzing) i can go part throttle( about 50%) and tranny downshifts(depending on what speed im at) and start to accel. As it reaches higher rpms it doesn't want to shift>. the car jerks back and forth and then finally shifts. BUT in a run against someone, with about 10secs of brake torquring, it shifts fine. I wondering is it the kind of atf im using that doesn't work well when cold or is something broken. Im im currently using an autozone filter and royal purple max atf with only about 300 miles on it. I was thinking about changing to an ipt filter with redline atf, butt wanted some opions on this first> thank you and sorry for the spelling errors.
