2G NT Charging issue

I found a lot for 1g cars, but not a lot for 2g cars.

My problem is the car runs great, but it won't start back up after shutting down. The alternator powers the car just fine (drove it 30 minutes at night with the headlights and radio on with no problems) but doesn't seem to be charging the battery. The battery is cheap but only 2 years old. Autozone tested the alternator to be fine. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

sounds like you have some dead cells, do you have another battery you could test it with?

What voltage are you getting from the alternator while is it running?

Why wouldn't you have the zone test your battery at the same time you had your alternator tested? When you say doesn't start, does it not turn over or does it turn over and not start? If it doesn't turn over I'm 95% sure your battery is crap.
