HELP Would this (Power Transistor) Cause P0300 Random Misfire Code

Guys I am clueless.

This is what happened

I took of the lever of the wastegate actuator to the flapper to see how much I was creeping drove around and on my way home the Tach dropped and CEL came on and car felt like shittt.

I didnt touch anything in the engine bay. I know for a fact though that my power transistor connector was cracked and connected like s h i t. (Look at pictures). Up unitl now though it was running fine no problems whatsoever.

1. Do you think the connector finaly gave?

2. When I completely unplug the connector the car will not start but with it plugged in it will start but run like crap.

3. Is there anythign else I should check even though I did not touch anything in the engine bay except the wastegate actuator arm?

If I do need to buy another Power Transistor Is this the part?

check your coil pack. i had the same issue, and replaced it. its been running strong ever since. try putting some electrical grease in the connector to give it a better connection. hope this helps you any.

The thing's broken, those leads inside that plug are most likely broken so either fix it(fairly technical) or get a new one.
By fixing it, you would need some way to jump the broken leads to the board inside, and putting it all back together.

And yes that's the right part, but you can score one for a lot cheaper from one of the part-out vendors on here.

Thanks guys! the problem has been resovled and it WAS the snapped power transistor.

Found a guy locally who had some extras, another FYI 91-99 use the exact same Power Transistor I got one off a 94 and the car started perfectly. I will mark this as resolved.
