1g maft install on 2g

Need some info on how to wire a 1g maft to a 2g.I have the maf plug from a bad maf I had.now just need to know how to wire it up to my 1g maft.pleas no replys that say get the right one for the car!

I don't think a 1G MAF-T will work on a 2G. If you really want a straight answer, contact Full Throttle Speed directly.

If it a version 2.02 there is a switch to switch it to a 2g singnal. Not sure about anything esle.

yes it will work... im running a 1g maft... I just cross referenced all the wires using VFAQ Site - Visual Frequently Answered Questions and spiced in at the ecu

Don't want to wire to the ecu.I know it works just don't know what wires need to be conected where.I have a stock female plug from my stock 2g maf!looking for info on what wires get soldered to what prong on the maf plug.the link above goes to a donation page not to the vfaq diagram.

Why not pick up the harness that makes a 2g maf useable in a 1g? That way you can get the correct pinout without soldering/changing anything and still have your stock harness intact.

Another few moments of thinking and it still wouldnt help much since the plug connectors would not be correct, but you'd still have the wiring done for you.

Its not hard I have the harness made already.I just need to know where the wires go to on the 2g maf plug.that's all I need to know.

Go on Vfaq...in their intake section theres a pinout for a 2g maf in a 1g. In that they have all the pinouts of the plug.

I need to know what wires need to come from the 1g maft to the 2g female maf conector.I have seen a pic of one that had 5 wires that go to it.just can't make out the colors from the 1g maft.
