I recently bought a used injen intake pipe. I read that i need a new filter but i can't figur out why. If the filter connects to the maf then the intake pipe, why would changing the pipe affect the filter size? Can someone clarify this please? Thanks :D

Wow, are you two speaking English above me? Seriously, if you're gonna give someone help, don't use the words U or U-R. :ohdamn:

Anyways, I'm assuming you have a paper filter, They're basically saying you should have a K&N so that it will withhold being out of the snorkel (air canister), that is if the elements were to get to it, the K&N will hold up better than the stock filter.

Ok thanks, the airbox is already off the filter, so i think it'll be ok. I have no idea if its the stock filter or not though.

It looks more black, but accordian does sound familiar. I'll take another look tomorrow, it may just be really dirty :)
