:ohdamn:I JUST FOUND A 97 TALON AWD. THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID IT HAD A BAD CRANK SENSOR WHICH WAS CAUSING IT NOT TO HAVE SPARK. BUT I WAS BREAKING IT ALL DOWN TO DAY AND FOUND SOME OIL IN THE INLET TUBE? HOW BAD IS THAT?
ALSO SOME OF THE FINS ON THE TURBO WHERE BENT AND THE TURBO HOUSING ITSELF WAS CRACKED.... SO WHAT THE BIGGEST TURBO I CAN RUN ON A STOCK BLOCK?

are you saying there's some oil in the intake tube where it meets the turbo? a little oil in there is common if you have no oil catch can in line between the valve cover and intake - the bent fins and cracked turbo housing is definitely a problem though

yes in the turbo inlet tube i found some oil not very much..
after i got the turbo off i seen that it wasnt cracked but scracthed very deep..

thats whats on it now just havent had a chance to drive it yet where the wiring is such a mess... but i beleave it will be a awesome car once i get it lined out

Does he have any mods done to the car? (fuel system, intercooler, etc..) You can even pick up the good ol' 14b for cheap if you really dont want to break the bank and still get decent power. The 14b has proven time and time again. Even taking some close to the 10's..with all other supporting mods imaginable but still!
