Okay guys just to start out I removed my entire Throttle body an replace all seals, completely disassembled everything, including the idle stop screw for the throttle butterfly. Now my idle is a bit odd its semi steady with just a tad of fluctuation. In park i can get it to idle at 750 but as soon as I put it in drive it goes down to about 500. With no accessories on. Im worried that the Idle set screw isn't properly adjusted to spec and im not sure how too? Im assuming if that adjustment is off, that it will throw the IAC and TPS off aswell. Every once in a while it will idle high aswell like 1k. These sensors all checked out well so I know its not that. As far as boost leaks go, the only one im getting is through my 1g BOV for some reason no matter ### BOV I install I get a leak through the recirc port.

I could not find a vfaq on adjusting the Idle stop screw and where to start with it. Anyway if anyone could give me a quick walk through it would be greatly appreciated.

My 95 gsx does the exact same thing after i replaced the shaft seals in my throttle body. From what i have read 2g tps adjusment is more about measuring with a feeler gauge than with voltage as you would do in a 1g
From what I can tell 2G's TPS adjustment procedure is different than what I've posted for 1G's.

2G's critical adjustment is the Idle Position Switch that's part of the TPS.
The manual has you place a 0.0177" (0.45mm) feeler guage between the stop screw and the throttle pulley to open the butterfly and then adjust the TPS right to where the IPS (pins 3 and 4) switches from closed to open. Then they have you verify that the TPS (pin 2 and 4) reads between .4 and 1V while the feeler guage is still in place.
Anything in that range is ok as long as the IPS is adjusted correctly.
There is no way to adjust the TPS voltage independantly of the IPS on a 2G that I can see.

Steve
but my cel is on because of a bad isc motor so i really dont know

Yeah i know to use the feeler guage on the set screw to open the butterfly slightly. My problem is im not sure where exactly the set screw is supposed to be adjusted too? and if there is any process or way to get it correctly in the right spot.

I'm assuming that by idle stop screw you're refering to the fixed SAS screw. The guide for properly setting it is midway through the BISS adjustment process. You can find the guide here: 2G BISS Adjustment Ludachris also has a thread that links to the full 2g Service Manuals if you don't have them already, and if you make an account (takes like 2 minutes) on the site you can download all the Service Manuals for free! You can find that here: Download a 2g Service Manual

Here's the short version for the SAS pulled from the VFAQ article:
What if the SAS has been moved? Here's how to adjust it:
NOTE - the fixed SAS should not be moved unnecessarily; it has been precisely adjusted by the manufacturer. If the adjustment has been disturbed for any reason, readjust as follows:

Loosen the tension of the accelerator cabel sufficiently.
Back out the fixed SAS locknut.
Turn the fixed SAS counterclockwise until it is sufficiently backed out, and fully close the throttle valve.
Turn the fixed SAS clockwise until the throttle lever is touched (i.e., the point at which the throttle valve begins to open). From that point, turn the fixed SAS clockwise another 1 1/4 turn.
While holding the fixed SAS so that it doesn't move, tighten the locknut securely.
Adjust the tension of the accelerator cable.
Continue with the BISS adjustment.

After getting proper adjustment to the SAS screw you'll likely have to readjust your BISS and TPS. As already stated the TPS is set with a feeler gauge, and testing for continuity helps; the BISS however cannot be properly adjusted without a MUTII Scantool or equivalent.

To properly adjust the BISS requires a MUTII tool to run an idle set operation. The computer will then set the ISC at a specific point (I believe the middle of it's travel) and then you can adjust the BISS to 750 rpm. You can use a laptop and a cable to do this via programs such as EvoScan and DSMLink, or the stealership can do it for you (for a price of course).

Granted I've never heard of anyone who couldn't just set it and forget it without the service tool, but that's what the service manual says for the BISS. Most simply set it and let it idle a bit then adjust it again, rinse and repeat until it holds properly. Sorry for the long post, but your title did say Complete Idle/TPS adjustment ;) . Hope that helps.
