1G: Reverse Light Wires

Hi, first of all I've searched and found nothing on the subject because what happened is kinda weird.

To make long story short the reverse light switch cables were a bit too long and somehow got tangled up in the passengers side wheel shaft and it ripped them. Now I have the plug with two wires "in the air" and can't find where to put them. Also I found a 4 wire square plug in one of the red cables that were in the shaft, the other one just got out of the plug with the terminal.

My question is were does it go because I couldn't find the other side of the plug or anything to connect it. Hope I explained myself good because English is not my spoken language. I'll post pictures later if needed. Thanks in advance...

A picture will help out a lot? Your profile shows a FWD car. Is it FWD or AWD. Since you are referring to the reverse lights I assume it's AWD.

May not be an accurate assumption. The switch for the reverse lights is on the trans, so he's most likely talking about the wire harness in the front. I'm pretty sure the reverse light wires are in the same loom as the starter wire harness, I can pull the ic piping off of mine and see for sure later on today if I need to.

Thanks for the reply. The car is a FWD, a friend came over to help me and found it it's beneath the battery with the starter harness, which by the way also got jammed up in the shaft. Had to put a push button start (rice) but i kinda like it.

I'm sorry if i wasn't clear enough. The wires I'm talking about is the two red wires that go to the transmission for the reverse lights.
