so i finally got my eclipse running and it runs rough. the knock sensor wire pulled out so i have to replace it thats y i think it runs kind of rough. also i blew the alternator fuse so i replaced it and when i hooked the battery up again and as i did it was sparking and the fuse blew again. what could it be???

Check the connections on the alternator. Something may be hooked up incorrectly. Also make sure you are hooking up all the pos wires to the positive and the neg wires to the negative you may have a hot going to the neg side or vice versa.

Yeah running rough would be the knock sensor for sure, sort that electrical issue out before throwing parts at it.

Check the ground on the alternator mine was blowing fuses because of that and killing my batter

ok il check all my wiring. i need to get a hold of a wiring diagram for the wires for the alternator

if it was sparking that bad and blew a fuse that fast then there is probably a crossed wire somewher.

Check the diagrams and see if the fuse quits blowing.

ill have to trace the wires down individually. could it possibly be a starter wire
