Revised lifters from Ebay, too good to be true?

I am in, Rhode Island
I plan on upgrading my HKS 264/272s to some GSC S2s to help my FP3052 breath a little better up top.

I have a bad valve stem seal (i think) and a little bit of lifter noise, so both the seals and lifters are going to be replaced when i do the cams.

I found revised lifters on ebay for $71, shipped. They seem legit, but i thought i'd check here first.

I searched, and there wasn't much info on purchasing them cheap from ebay.

Lash Ajusters Lifters 16V DSM Eclipse Talon 4G63:eBay Motors (item 300360184956 end time Nov-22-09 13:35:39 PST)

Thoughts?

I would go with the Topline/Johnson lifters they are from a well known Automotive Engineering company, you can find them on ebay for 79$ shipped.

I got the Topline lifters on ebay for like $79 shipped. But I ordered a bunch of PCI parts from Parts Dinosaur...my timing tensioner, timing belt, timing bearings and the alt and ps belts. They are from PCI, but PCI just packages up stuff that comes from the OEM distributors. The timing tensioner was like $70 and was the exact same one you get from the dealership. The timing belt was I think $30 or something ridiculous, and it is a Gates belt, but doesn't have "Gates" printed on it but it does have the Gates part number. Cheaper because it is made for PCI. I say try them out, I'm sure they are fine.

Lots of good info, thanks.

Any other suggestions when i do the job?

For $30 i might as well throw another timing belt in it.

The Gates belt is the only one Mitsu can use if they dont have the "OEM" one in stock. The PCI belt IS a Gates belt and you would be fool spending $100 on a BELT from the dealer when you can get it for $30. But there are things I wouldnt skimp on like the hydraulic tensioner. But PartsDinosaur sells that as well which is from the direct OEM maker. $70 which is less than any other vendor

They arrived today! That was the fastest shipping ever! They are the ITM 3g lifters, the same ones MAP sells for $94.00. The seller was theimportexperts and they were $70.94 shipped.

Here is a comparison shot of the factory lifters (left) and the 3g revised lifters (right).

PCI products are made by Gates? Why do the pci timing belts look like cheap crap compared to a gates belt then?

BigBeans, Did you end up going with these lifters? I just ordered the same ones today.

I ordered the Johnson/Topline lifters. I'm waiting for my new cams to arrive before i install them.
