Alright I know posts with this exact same topic have come up before, and i know the only two things that you NEED are a jpipe and oil feed line. Im gonna buy my line soon but my question is how long should the line be and with what connectors on each side? Straight or 90 bent or both? Im pretty sure the feed line going into the turbo has to be straight but what about the other side.

Here are pics of my used 14b off of ebay. As you can see it came with a little extra. It includes very small in/out play along with some oil but for the price I got a screaming deal (if it works). Let me know what you guys think about it.

Looks aight, just clean it up, bend the lines just enough to get them into the existing black coolant lines off the block, reverse the j-pipe, and bolt that sucker up. I did a 14b swap on my car, and IDK if it's because I havent driven my car for 9 months... but I THINK I can feel a HELL of a difference. Pulls like a champ :thumb:

I order like $130 worth of stuff from ExtremePSI.com

Gaskets - Manifold, turbo, o2, and downpipe
SS Bolts - manifold to turbo bolts
1g Coolant Lines
1g Oil Lines
Banjo bolts - to feed from the head
1g oil feed line from the head

Well worth every penny. Do not skimp, unless you want to pull that sucker off again. Always having to clean up spilled coolant and oil sucks. PLUS I use synthetic, so that cost too :ohdamn:

Yeah but how long was your oil line and did it have straight male connectors or a bend. Here is what Im looking at and the options are in the scroll down.
STM - GOODRIDGE -4AN STAINLESS OIL FEED LINES

Yep, that's the same oil feed line, you need an additional piece that connects to the turbo. But I think it may be already on your existing turbo, otherwise you can order that from extreme psi.

And its also not hard to read the rules of the forums "No thread bumping". If someone knows your answer, they will chime in. Otherwise do the research.

i just got my 14b as well, from what i can tell it looks like you need a banjo connecter for the turbo and then a 90 for the ofh.

this is what you need from bonehead performance i got it on ebay, perfect fit.

Brand new oil feed line for your 2G DSM!

This kit includes a 24" braided, stainless line. This is the line that will reach from your oil filter housing location to your turbocharger. Line includes a new banjo bolt and fitting, 2 crush washers and a 90 degree fitting for the turbo.

Applications: 95-99 Eclipse/Talon using a Mitsubishi 14B or 16G Turbo. Does not work with the factory T25 turbo.

did i answered your question?

Thanks guys. This is actually an old thread and Ive actually began my install which can be viewed here.

For future reference.
To intall a 14b with the minimum.
I ordered a 1g ss oil feed line from boneheadperformance to feed my 14b from the head.
Both coolant lines can be reused no problem.
You need a jpipe which I recieved with my fmic
If you wish to use the turbo as a boost source for your mbc you need to put a nipple on the jpipe or turbo. (t25 has one 14b does not)
The oil return line is interesting. You can use the 2g return line however the bolts for the 14b are not only thinner but they are also closer together so you need to "slot" your 2g oil return line screw holes and possibly get new screws to fit. (A new gasket is highly recommended by me)

Is it true that I could get the 16G Install Kit and use it for a 14b install? I have a 99 GST and my turbo is done. Because of money, this is what I'm looking in to.

If you're buying an "install kit", you're throwing your money away.

You can use the T25's existing coolant lines, the T25's oil drain (if you slot the holes slightly toward center on the top flange), and all the gaskets and bolts are reuseable unless they're damaged. All you really need to buy is a 1G oil supply line (from the head) and the hardware to connect it to the head and the turbo, and a j-pipe to direct the compressor outlet's airflow downward.
