I finally shed some light 2hours later, but just need one quick answer. I pulled a 7bolt N/T 4G63 out of a 94 Eclipse GS, Automatic. I am going to boost it with a little t3/t4 nothin special, just to prevent it from running way to rich. Anyways, the main point is, my 2g (95 GST 5speed) I have the 7bolt Turbo FWD flywheel and want to bolt it up to the N/T block. This IS possible but I read something about a Bushing between the crankshaft and converter from the Auto Tranny? Can anyone shed some light on how to remove it safely? Just pry it out or what? This is one of the few areas of a DSM I haven't hit yet, so I'm not a total newb at this stuff, just dont have enough posts :thumb: Thanks guys! Have a great one!

The easiest way that I discovered on how to remove that metal bushing is to pack the end of the bushing with grease. get a 6 to 8 inch dowel rod that will fit inside the bushing and take a hammer and hammer the dowel rod in. What it does is force the grease and basically presses it out. I've done 2 auto to 5 speed swaps and it has worked everytime. Just make sure to get some towels, it gets messy sometimes. If you get the right size dowel should take about 1 minute to get out, the first time we didn't have one and had to take a broom apart in the garage. it works just as well. Good luck! :hellyeah:
