Yellow wire off alternator where does it go?

I am having the battery/brake light issues on my 2g GST. I have a Yellow wire hanging from the alternator. its not the power steering wire or the oil pressure wire both of those are already hooked up. im looking all around on the alternator and i cannot see where this 1 wire goes.

Have you checked to see if the wire to your low oil pressure switch is hooked up?

If it's not coming out of the alt itself but rather out of the harness that goes to the alt (and other things) try grounding it and see what light/gauge it affects.
