1G-specific Starter Help

could anyone show me like a diagram or some intructions on how to change it because i just dont want to start undoing it and do it wrong, btw should i do i from under the car or take off the eci multi? thanks this is for a 1991 eagle talon TSi FWD

Undo the battery ground.
Unclip the one wire connector from the starter.
Unbolt the big wire on the starter.
Unbolt the starter (2 bolts along the transmission bell housing).
Pull out starter.
Put in new starter and follow instructions backwards.

what exactly do i have to take off to get to the starter.. or do i have to go underneath the car to take it off??

It depends on how you go about it as to how it comes out. If you take the battery and such out, you can get to it from above.

idk about the 2.0 but on my 1.8 i can fully change it even put the new one in within 15 mins. but i also have the battery in the cab and and the battery tray is out. i usually dont even unbolt the connections to the starter till i have it out. but make sure to disconnect the battery.
