noob to the dsm

i just got a 91 tsi its missing a tranny and transfer case the cars has sat for a few years i traded some body work for it so im not out any money just my time. my? is i live in Florence SC. i dont no anyone in this area that works on dsm's and i cant afford to send it to another state for work. ive built hondas and a few chevys and built a few turbo k20's i want to find someone that does alot of dsm work and that do a good job. any help would be great

Rent me a condo in myrtle and feed me and ill work on dsm for free.J/k If you know cars you should have no problem Putting the tranny and tcase in. It may have other issues from sitting i.e. rusty brake/fuel lines, dryrotted ic pipes, dirty fuel system, but it shouldn't be too bad. If you run into problem you can ask here. Also post in the regional forum for your area maybe a local guy would be willing to help you a lil bit.
