Whats the metal box on passenger side, under carpet and metal plate???

OK SO under the pasenger carpet there this metal plating bolted on that when i take it off theres a metal box with wires and attached to another metal plate???

Is it black? My car has the stock audio amp under the passanger side.

Directly below the passenger seat there is a black metal box that is the stock amplifier, if you are running an aftermarket deck then that can just be yanked out it gets circumvented with almost all wiring harnesses for new stereos.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok its ABS need to take it out get to the evaporator core??
