I have a 7-bolt motor.

How can I remove the balance belt without taking the crank sprocket off?

The crank sensor plate is currently blocking it. Can I rotate crank if valves are in Cyl1 TDC?

Thanks in advance

To replace balancer belt you gotta take off the big center bolt outta the crank, Big washer, then Timing belt sprocket, and key plate. Then the balancer belt should slide right off.

You do not need to take the sprocket off. Just loosen the eccentric tensioner pulley, and the belt will slide off. Yes, you can turn the crank as long as your cams are in proper time. At Cyl. 1 TDC. all valves are closed enough to be able to turn the crank.
