what kind of power have you guys heard of people making on stock 1g big rods? ive got a motor im putting in a tsi awd its a 2g piston 1g rods. big injectors and a 20g turbo all supporting mods.

Buschur has squeezed close to 700 WHP out of the 1G rods on more than one occasion. I recommend using ARP rod bolts! Other wise the stock bolts are going to be a weak link!

I know 600hp has been done on a stock 6 bolt longblock. Let me see if I can find the thread.

As long as they are off of a 6 bolt, they are the big rods right? It doesnt matter if it's a turbo or n/a 6bolt?

Yup, 1g rods in turbo and n/t blocks were identical.

my brother made 466whp on a 1g big rod/ 2g piston combo. pretty sick for stock parts!

Im shooting for high horsepower on my n/t 6-bolt block with 2g pistons. Just to show people what stock motors can do im shooting for, better yet i will(I WILL DO THIS) hit 500whp on my 2g GSX with ems on a FP sleeper 16g(just to say i did it on a 16g).
