Ok, so i have a new right now and im looking to get dsmlink in a couple of weeks. Do i need neo when i buy the dsmlink? Can it still be attached to the car with dsm link? I didnt like it since ive had it, so can it just act as 'gauges/ sensors' when my dsm link is hooked up? Any suggestions would help, thanks.

I used the Apexi Neo on my car...I didnt like it. I've heard many people have problems with them on the DSM's.

I would suggest sell the Neo, and save a few bucks and buy DSM link.

Thanks Guys, I'm definitely going to sell it. I do like the digital battery gauge though LOL.

Hey do you have any tips on actually removing the thing...I am in the same process and it came with my car so I dont want to mess anything up.

Hopefully the person who installed it used scotch locks! If thats the case, just remove the scotch locks!
1 wire should be cut and both ends tied directly into the Neo. I think the wire is green, but dont hold me to that. That wire you will have to repair.

the afc neo is not compatible with our cars as it can not read karmen if you get in contact apexi they will take your neo off of your hands and send you a refund for the neo if you have a receipt or 300 with out a receipt. and link is its own fuel management system you need nothing else

I think all you need to do "if" your gonna leave it in is just unplug the two wires with the plug ends and plug the ecu line back together. Hopefully the person who installed it used the plug and plug receptacle. Here is a diagram of how it might be hooked up.

So, all i have to do is just unplug the Karman plug, if the person who installed it used a plug? And if not then i have to unsplice all of the connections? Right?

Well at least if I have to take out my ECU I can see if i have eprom, right? LOL
