Whats goin on, i was wondering if someone can give me a straight answere...I almost 99 percent sure i could NOT use 1g awd parts rear end and such to do a AWD conversion on my 2g gst. Somone told me i could but i didnt think so. Let me know what you think

I'm doubting things like the shocks / springs, fuel tank and other little things would fit work, if any did, unless you completely custom fabbed it up.

Why are you converting to AWD? In this market GSX's are so cheap its unbelievable, and the cost of parts would be so much you could probably sell your gst and get a gsx. Just don't use the classifieds here cause they are way over priced.

It is rather cheap I will vouch for that, though I'm not dissing the classified ads I picked up a 95 tsi awd for 1800 rolling shell. But as with any purchase shop around

In no way am I putting them down, it's just pure fact that they know we know how much it cost's to mod these cars and how precious they are to us, so they will over price them and sometimes people will pay it. On the other hand joe schmoe who needs cash on your local autotrader / craigslist / forums will sell much cheaper.

You all are lucky I cant find any 2g roller awd's down here in the south I have seen a bunch up in the penslivaina and west vergina but I can not aford to ship or go get it would put me out of the price range I have to spend. I have been looking for months in La Ms Al Fl and Tx even as far as Tn but to no avail.

There aren't many interchangeable 1g parts at all. Try to acquire a 2g awd shell, it seems to be the easiest way to allocate all the parts you need for the swap.
