avc -vs- afc

To everyone which one do u guys think you would use the most? The apex-i avc-r or the afc controller.

-The AVC-R & the S-AFC serve different function, if you want to know which to buy 1st, I would say the boost controller, and AVC-R is one of the electronic one out there, a new S-AFC is coming out soon. $.02

Yea i know that they are different but i was just seeing what one i should keep out. The other would be going in my glove compartment thats all..

keep the afc in the glove box,once its set (unless you set it)you wont be messing with it much .keep your boost controler out so you can adjust boost when you want to.

How often do you adjust boost settings? Compare that to how often you need to adjust the a/f mixture at idle.

Exactly I haven't messed with my boost in weeks. I swear I am messing with the SAFC almost daily.

yeah diffentatly keep the S-afc to where you can reach it. I know i use mine a lot more than the boost controller. And if your going to keep the boost controller in the glove box why not just run a manual boost controller and save your self alot of money. I have a Turbo XS dual stage controller you dont really need more than that and it comes with a cool jet fighter like toggle switch.

you set the AVC-r like once and never play with it. low boost in 1st and 2nd then normal the rest right? thats the GST way

put the AVC-r in your glove box, im going to mount mine on a hinge so its out of hte way. the afc is going on my center vents.

please man for the love of SUMMER, don't repalce the vent with it. u think tat one vent means nothing????? i have the vent mounted one and would LOVE to have my vent back in the summer.
