I have a 91 GST that im parting out. I wanted to save only the necessary part of the harness that i need to do a motor swap in the future. My question is what parts of the harness do i need to save. I heard you may only need the harness that connects to the motor. Which makes sense. So im thinking of just disconnecting the harness from the dashboard toward the engine bay.

I would think that the harness from the dashboard toward the back of the car isn't needed cause those wires are for tail lights, window motors, wondow locks, etc.
As far as the dashboard forward goes... Do i need any of the harness going anywhere from the engine forward of the car. Cause those wires just go to headlights, etc.

Any help would be appreciated. This harness isn't exactly going to be saved for just use on a DSM. Im thinking of saving it for a project or selling it to someone who is swapping a 4g63 in another car that does not originally have the 4g63 in it. So again what part of the harness neeeds to be saved.

Knock sensor, mas airflow sensor wires, boost connector, for stock boost the wires, to the connector. The fuel injector pack. I think thats it its what you need to convert a non turbo 1g to a turbo dsm.

Thanks for the reply, but im not doing a non turbo swap. I was thinking more along the lines of doing a turbo colt swap. Or if i sold the harness to somebody doing a mighty max swap, etc. Im thinking the only part i need is what has to do with the engine componets. I'll probably save more to stay safe.
